John Bawtree has travelled from his home in Suffolk for many years. He has painted subjects as diverse as Mexican pyramids, Zanzibar rooftop views, East African markets, the Havana waterfront, Barcelona’s Park Guell, villages in the Massif Central and aerial views of his own Suffolk landscape.

He is soon to revisit the Middle East after an absence of ten years from Oman and the UAE where he spent much of the 80s and 90s.
